⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- The world needs more books like this

Wish there were books like this when I was young. You’re Truly One of a Kind beautifully captures how diversity should be celebrated and describes it at a level that children at any age can understand. I love the bit of culture it introduces in the Did You Know section. The illustrations are adorable too.

She even read the book aloud to her 7 year old cousins, and answered their questions. I am so glad that author Sonali has been able to deliver a powerful message to even sceptic kids so easily. The words are fun to read across different ages and almost always pique further discussion. Needless to say, I am so glad to see a book like this out there and really hope that this is the first of many more “Sonalis” to come. Good luck to this wonderful author!
